The Tl’azt’en Nation Health Centre has an opening for a full-time Level Three First aid person to work with our nursing staff to provide support to the community in both the clinic and the field. The Level three First Aid will respond to emergency calls as needed to support the nursing staff and maintain the two-person ratio for home visits. The successful applicant will be kind, courteous and respectful, able to maintain and respect the client’s privacy and will keep information confidential.

• Have a minimum class 5 driver’s license

• Have a clean drivers abstract

• Be professional and courteous

• Have a current Level Three First aid certification

• Be physically able to lift and bend

• Have three to five years working as a First Aid person

• Be responsible and mature

• Be confident in transporting clients as needed.

• Has experience in logging and documenting case files

• Willing to step up as needed to support the team in unexpected emergent situations.

Working as part of the Health team this person will be responsible for ensuring that we provide our community with the best possible service and that they are conducting their own life in a positive manner. The successful applicant will provide a clean driving abstract, a current Level three ticket, and a vulnerable sector criminal record check.
