Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Dogwood
- Criminal record check
- Valid Driver’s License
- Working Vehicle
Duties:
- Develop a weekly plan to work with community members to meet their needs
- Provide community outreach visits as requested by members
- Meet with members and nation staff on a weekly basis
- Develop and implement proposals and work plans
- Develop a data system to track projects
- Communicate with members, staff, and advocates when needed
- Mediate conflicts/issues of concerns between members and staff
- Be an advocate for the needs of the members
- Will work directly with the Department Managers
- Adhere to the Nation’s Policies and Procedures
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with conflict resolution
- Interpersonal skills, supportive and advocacy skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and Outlook
- Basic Finance skills
- The ability to communicate in a professional manner utilizing team approach and pre-requisites for this position
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
