Now Hiring: Natural Resources Manager at Tl’azt’en Nation

Tl’azt’en Nation is recruiting a Natural Resources Manager to lead stewardship of our lands, waters, wildlife, and cultural values while supporting sustainable development and Rights and Title. This leadership role coordinates research, consultation, policy, and programme delivery so that resource decisions reflect community priorities and long-term sustainability.

The position oversees natural resource planning, budgets and funding agreements, GIS and assessment work, and staff leadership. The Manager builds strong relationships with Elders, members, governments, and partners, and ensures that all natural resource activities meet legal, privacy, and cultural standards.

This is a full-time, 35 hour per week, Monday to Friday position based at the Tl’azt’en Nation Administration Office in Tache, BC, with some travel to surrounding communities.
